So, as mentioned in last weeks post, Christmas is over! This means it’s the New Year which means new year, new goals! Having had a few days off at Christmas, we were so raring to tackle the opportunities for the new year, we started working on January 2nd -technically a bank holiday!
Last year, May to August was spent preparing our launch, then we launched in September and started the build up to Christmas straight away. Once Christmas was in full flow from November onwards our focus was on producing our beautifully crafted keepsakes ready to be opened under people’s Christmas trees.
Now Christmas is over and it is a little quieter it is time to re-focus and ensure we have a solid foundation to build our business from. We are still a very new business so number 1 priority has to be to “get ourselves out there” and ensure people know we exist and what we can offer.
We have been conducting a full review of our Facebook and Instagram activity training ourselves on everything from creating the perfect hashtag to what time is best to post. We are looking at what others are doing and why they are successful at it.
We are keen to tie up with a few local businesses in the area to offer our jewellery. We are being very selective about who we approach to ensure that we can add value to them and they can add value to us. You also may have seen our recent request to work with an ambassador who will help us spread the word amongst their friends and family. We had some fantastic applications and have selected 2 very lovely ladies that we can’t wait to work with.
In addition to all of this behind the scene work, we want to be out and about more, attending events and chatting to people to share with them our exciting products as well as get their feedback on what they would like to see us offer.
Finally we are working on a couple of top secret projects. It is early stages, but if they come to fruition will a lot of fun and help us reach so many more people.
Overall 2017 really is a new year, new goals. We aren’t scared to try new things to spread the work. However we also know that some of the oldest methods are the best so are still relying heavily on friends, family and our loyal customers to spread the word and for that we are so very grateful. Thank you!
